John and Patti Keefe have six sons, and they all sing. When the older boys were in high school at St Sebastian’s School, they formed an acapella singing group called “Akeefella” and recorded a CD. They performed at school functions, weddings, parties, fundraisers, and one time at Fenway Park. Eventually the two younger brothers worked their way into the act. Now that the older boys are in their 30’s and the younger two are in their 20’s they have very few occasions to be all together to practice and sing.
Last year, when Joseph was ordained a priest in Rome, we had all the boys together for a week. Here they are singing in Rome at a get together for the newly ordained and their families. Lot’s of joy in the room!
